HDPE stands for High Density Polyethylene and is a type of plastic material which is very commonly used in products and packaging such as milk jugs, margarine tubs, garbage containers, detergent bottles and water pipes. HDPE is also used to make jerrycans and barrels (also known as drums).
HDPE Barrels Scrap
HDPE is commonly used in production of barrels. When they have served their purpose and are not wanted anymore they can be recycled. Commonly used colors are blue, black, yellow and white. HDPE barrels scrap can be sorted by those colors or it can be mixed.
Usually HDPE barrels are compressed into cubes (bales) and loaded on pallets for shipping.
